Passport Scheme
The
Olympic Passport Scheme was established in 1996 and is designed to offer
exclusive benefits to athletes.
Olympic
Passport Holders will have been nominated on to the scheme by their National
Governing Body of Sport as a potential future Olympian or Paralympian.
The
Scheme operates on two levels Gold and Silver:
Gold:
Prospective Olympians/Paralympians for the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012
Games
Silver:
Prospects for future Olympic/Paralympic Games
Once
nominated on to the scheme, athletes are issued with a membership card which
entitles the athlete to a variety of benefits provided by the British Olympic
Association in conjunction with our partners. Membership is reviewed on an
annual basis by the National Governing Body.
