This will be the third time London has hosted the games having also done so in 1908 and 1948. Discover more about the history of London Olympics.

The 2012 Olympics will take place in a host of new venues as well as using existing and historic facilities. Many of the new facilities will be reused and the plans are part of the regeneration of Stratford and Lower Lea Valley in east London. More Olympic venue information.

Nirvana Spa and Pulse 8 are delighted to support all athletes in connection with the 2012 Games.

Passport Scheme

The Olympic Passport Scheme was established in 1996 and is designed to offer exclusive benefits to athletes.

Olympic Passport Holders will have been nominated on to the scheme by their National Governing Body of Sport as a potential future Olympian or Paralympian.

The Scheme operates on two levels Gold and Silver:

Gold: Prospective Olympians/Paralympians for the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Games

Silver: Prospects for future Olympic/Paralympic Games

Once nominated on to the scheme, athletes are issued with a membership card which entitles the athlete to a variety of benefits provided by the British Olympic Association in conjunction with our partners. Membership is reviewed on an annual basis by the National Governing Body.
