massive refurbishment, the Quellenhotel prides itself on seven in- and
outdoor pools filled with mineral-rich, naturally warm thermal waters and
massage jets to soothe and prevent aches and pains. This Styrian spa, with
its in-house team of qualified doctors and therapists who can tailor
individual health and beauty programmes, offers its own unique range of
treatments; traditional Styrian medicine, detox massages using
locally-produced pumpkin oil and apple juice, restorative body packs made
from high moorland grass and hay baths that use local medicinal plants.
The exclusive ‘Quellenoasis’,
offering a stunning view onto the valley below and beyond, is a new and
modern three-storey luxury spa area created for the exclusive use of guests
staying at the hotel. From the extensive indoor/outdoor sun deck, gaze over a
natural lake created as a pool for swimming in the summer months and the
infinity thermal water pool which is positioned within the lake itself.
Another special feature is a dedicated women’s sauna and relaxation area –

Two
main dining rooms offer guests a broad selection of cuisine. All dishes are
prepared according to principles of holistic nutrition with much of the
featured produce coming from local farms. Breakfast is an extensive buffet,
while guests on half-board can choose a delicious 4-course dinner from a set
menu which includes daily self-service salad bar. Vegetarian and low calorie
prescription diets are available.
