the River Blackwater in Eversley, The New Mill Restaurant is easily
accessible, but its idyllic and tranquil setting of remarkable beauty exudes

Family-owned by John and Cindy Duffield, The New
Mill exudes character on arrival, something that is complemented by a very
warm welcome. The two AA-rosette restaurant’s modern English menus have been
developed with passion by head chef, Colin Robson-Wright and his team of
talented chefs to capture the essence of each season, using fresh,
locally-sourced ingredients wherever possible to produce simple but fabulous
and innovative dishes, in which the natural flavours of the ingredients are
emphasised.
Whether
the mood is for the truly indulgent tasting menu, comprising seven small but
perfectly formed courses; for the sophisticated and gorgeous à la carte with
an extensive choice of delightful and distinctive dishes; or for Chef’s Menu
of the Day, diners are assured of truly great food.
The
choice of menus has been developed to appeal to and satisfy the most eclectic
of tastes. A quick two course-lunch is available from as little as £15.
Alternatively, those tempted to treat themselves to a greater indulgence can
meander through the £59.50 seven-course tasting menu, complementing the food
with fine wines from The New Mill’s award-winning cellars.
A restaurant since 1973, The New Mill is steeped in
history and still retains a working waterwheel and corn grinding equipment at
the heart of its Grade II listed building. Oak beams, low ceilings and open
fires abound and the atmosphere encourages our guests to relax and to savour
