January Fitness Update

Over £1Million Pounds Invested at Pulse 8

Did you know that over the next 6 months we are investing over 1 million pounds at Pulse 8, and you may have noticed that the work has already begun in our commitment to providing the best fitness facilities and ensuring incredible value for money to you...

Coming soon...

We have already started developing a new air conditioned Ladies Fitness Suite upstairs with 24 stations including cardiovascular equipment, free weights, fixed resistance and power plates.  Allowing you to work out in comfort and privacy, amongst like minded people, so there is no need to feel daunted or intimidated.

The current ladies zone will be opened up to create more core and stretch space along with an induction area for all gym appointments and exercise courses.

We will be replacing all resistance equipment through the performance zone and wellness zone with The Gym80 range of equipment offering the most advanced design and technology in the fitness industry.

The Performance Zone will also increased in size to accommodate the free weights area from upstairs.
We are planning on building a wall to separate the performance zone from the studio/badminton area of the sports hall.

The Cardio Zone and all Cardiovascular Equipment is also being replaced this year with the latest equipment from Techno Gym and will offer you the best CV workout in terms of maximising performance, comfort, ease of use and interactive technology.

Initially we will be replacing all x-trainers, rowers and adding in the new CV equipment for the ladies gym from the 29th January and then replacing all the remaining CV equipment in September.

During this time we will also be re-painting the corridors from the reception area all the way down to the gym and into the gym areas and installing new flooring in these areas

During these extensive developments we will try and ensure minimal disruption to you

Winter Exercise Tips - Don't hibernate - invigorate!

With the temperature plummeting at this time of year, many of us tend to hibernate inside our homes and conserve energy.

It's important to stay active through all four seasons, however for many, winter brings a time of inactivity leading to us becoming less physically fit as we are in the warmer months. Therefore if you want to maintain good health, overcome the winter blues, cut a trim figure or mould a sculpted body, don't let winter keep you from your regime.
